There is a legal basis that prescribes that a healthcare invoice must include specific data that allows the health insurer to verify the invoice. This specifically involves mentioning the so-called DSM main group diagnoses and the gb-ggz profile on the healthcare invoices.
Since the beginning of 2025, there has been a discussion about the way healthcare performances can be declared. The discussion arose because the NZa has dropped the obligation to mention the DSM main group codes and the gb-ggz profiles on the healthcare invoice as of this year.
