Who are we?
Psychiatrie Noord is a young and ambitious specialist mental health institution (sGGZ) in Groningen, where we provide high-quality mono- and multidisciplinary care for adults with complex psychiatric problems in an open, informal, and professional working atmosphere.
We deliver customized individual and group treatments, according to mental health guidelines and tailored to the needs of the patient. Think of treatment programs around ADHD, self-image, depression, anxiety, CBT, and ACT. Our target group is diverse and consists of both national and international patients.
We work in mono- or multidisciplinary teams consisting of psychiatrists, (GZ-) psychologists, social psychiatric nurses (SPV), systemic therapists, and psychomotor therapists. A multidisciplinary meeting (MDO) takes place weekly. A recent development within our institution is the expansion of services for clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Experience with this target group is a plus.
